AFE closed the month of March yesterday, March 31, with two activities.
The first took place at the Regional Delegation for the Promotion of Women and the Family in Bonanjo. During the first panel, which included the President of AFE and the Regional Delegate, the President presented on the theme of how to improve governance for better inclusion of women.

Then, in collaboration with a local partner, AFHE (Association of Women with Disabilities for Entrepreneurship), she took part in training women with reduced mobility from communities in the Far North who rely on begging for a living. These women were trained in basic beadwork. The language barrier did not allow us to proceed with the other planned training sessions, such as liquid soap and bleach production.

The women had come with their daughters, who are also not in school because they assist their mothers. The girls were able to benefit from the training on the spot, and beads and other plastic threads were given to them so they could continue practicing at home. Although they could not express themselves verbally, we were reassured by the smiles clearly visible on their faces.
